It seems to have slipped my mind...

One of the intensions of this blog was to include in amongst my ramblings, a Vocab word of the day. Well I noticed that it's been a while since I remembered one of those. So here's one on it's own. As a reminder token.

Todays Vocab Word : Lysimeter A device for measuring the percolation of water through soils and for determining the soluble constituents removed in the drainage.

Now it seems I have to start reading again to find some more words to keep this objective going.

i think you have been doing too much biology lately. take a break, go see a movie, get out the house. No one cares about soil perculators except those trapped on desert islands with lots of soil and no coffee ? einstein76

If someone had told Augustine of Hippo to take a break; or John of the Cross; or Francis of Asissi from the passion that they share, would the result have done them well? They serve their Master tirelessly, giving their all to their great Love .. and in all their lives they never took a break from holiness..

Or what if someone, as I'm sure they did, had told Einstein to take a break. Would we understand what we do about how the physical world works? {Thanks, Terri, for the Einstein hints ;)}

-- and so, when one uses their God Given talents for love and help - education of others - who, then are we to tell them they may not?

Who is anyone to tell us that we may not do that which we love [Unless that which we love is immoral and unlawful]
